Agrofen
We offers Agrofen as brand which is a formulation of Profenfos 40% and Cypermethrin 4% . This is an insecticide used in cotton to protect from Bollworm Complex. The separate optical isomers, due to the chiral phosphorus atom, show different types of insecticidal activity.
Cypermethrin acts on nervous system of the insect, and upsets the function of neurons by contact with the sodium channel.
